Changing My Forum Name

You can change the site name and/or the site description in the Board Settings under the General tab in the Administrative Control Panel (ACP) to anything you wish it to be.  Simply type a new site name and then change the site description in the appropriate boxes and then submit the form.

You cannot change the forum name in your forum URL.  The forum name is the part of the URL you are given for you forum that comes before the .freeforums.org.  To have a different name in the URL you have the option of creating a new forum with the name you want or purchasing a second-level domain name to hide the FreeForums URL.

A second-level domain name would look like
www.ForumName.com.  You can purchase a second-level domain name through the Hosting Upgrades link under the General tab of your ACP.  People will then use that URL to go to or link to your forum and you can have the name you want.
